Heidi Sloan for Congress in Texas District 25

Heidi Sloan is a farmer & community organizer running for US Congress in Texas’s 25th District. Heidi fought to win Paid Sick Days for all workers in Austin and also organized to win Paid Sick campaigns in San Antonio & Dallas. She led an 18-month campaign to move Rep. Lloyd Doggett to sign onto Medicare For All. Heidi has long championed the labor movement by supporting union drives, walking picket lines, and mobilizing support for strikes. Heidi’s campaign has already mobilized 600 volunteers to knock over 30,000 doors, and she has a goal to reach 100,000 by the Primary. She understands one Congresswoman can’t change a broken system alone, so she is running to bring working class people into the fights that affect our lives – fights like Medicare For All, a Green New Deal, criminal justice reform, and a strengthened labor movement – because when unions are strong, Democrats start winning again in Texas.
