Texas Democratic Party Co-Executive Director Hannah Roe Beck issued the following statement:

“Texas Democrats are going all out to elect Frank Ramirez for House District 118’s next State Representative. I’m thrilled that key partners from across Bexar County are stepping up to make this final push a success — and I look forward to joining Democratic leaders and activists for this weekend’s mobilization blitz.

“As a San Antonian, I’m incredibly excited to see the hard work Frank Ramirez is putting in to build a better future for folks in our city. Frank is a leader, a fighter, and a committed voice for working families. We’ve got just a few days left to bring this home, and we’re leaving everything on the field to secure a win for Frank. Bexar County, get out there and cast your ballot for Frank on Tuesday. Let’s go win this!”

Democratic Nominee for House District 118 Frank Ramirez issued the following statement:

“Running to represent the community I was born and raised in has been the honor of my life, and the driving force behind my candidacy from day one has been the opportunity to fight for the hardworking families of San Antonio. This election is a choice between our Democratic vision for a better, more prosperous future for all in Bexar County — and a Republican candidate who has already shown he will support Greg Abbott’s misguided policies, no matter the cost to our community. That’s the battle we’re in right now, and I couldn’t be more grateful to every Democratic voter in the district and across the state who is showing up to help us win this.

“This weekend, as we have the entire election, our grassroots team will be working day and night to make sure that in this final push, we leave it all on the field. I’m excited to keep the fight going alongside our incredible labor leaders, Texas House Democrats, local activists, community members, statewide candidates, and our partners at the Bexar County Democratic Party and the Texas Democratic Party. We’ve got four days to go. Let’s usher in the better future San Antonio deserves. I encourage every Democrat in House District 118 to get out there and vote this coming Tuesday, November 2.”
